A portion of Pineland Farms is conserved with a forever farms conservation easement held by the Maine Farmland Trust.  Pineland Farms is a 5,000 acre working farm, diverse business campus and educational and recreational venue that welcomes visitors to enjoy its beautiful rural landscape. Waterhouse Farm is a working conserved farm and an iconic piece of Maine scenery which lies between two of the Royal River Conservation Trust’s primary focus areas for land conservation — Pisgah Hill in New Gloucester, and Runaround Pond in Durham.
