Snowfields Farm is a small farm in Pownal, Maine, protected by a conservation easement held by the Royal River Conservation Trust. (The conservation easement extends to two additional abutting properties, neither of which is today a farm.) Snowfields Farm is dedicated to growing food and practicing organic farming methods to improve and sustain the soils for the future. They currently have a CSA farm share available for people to join. Abutting land managed by Bradbury Mountain State Park, the woods behind the Snowfield Farm include an RRCT-held trail easement which includes a major section of RRCT’s Elmwood Trails, accessed by trailheads nearby on both Lawrence Road and Elmwood Road.
