Chandler Brook Preserve, North Yarmouth - The 65-acre Chandler Brook Preserve borders one of the major tributaries of the Royal River. The preserve includes 2.9 miles of trails that follow the brook and surrounding fields, remnants of an old farm and its two hayfields, and a hemlock forest.
Knight’s Pond Preserve and Blueberry Hill, North Yarmouth and Cumberland - The 334-acre Knight’s Pond Preserve includes critical wildlife habitat, a 46-acre pond, a large block of forestland, and multiple recreational opportunities including a 6.5 mile trail network.
Sam Ristich Trails, North Yarmouth - The Sam Ristich Trails connect North Yarmouth’s town parks and forests and old area railroad beds. The trails host 16 stations (post markers) for the observation and identification of flora and fauna.
