Pineland Farms
Description
Located within the Royal River watershed in New Gloucester, Pineland Farms is a 5,000-acre working farm, diverse business campus, and educational and recreational venue. A portion of Pineland Farms is protected with a Forever Farms conservation easement held by Maine Farmland Trust.
The Bradbury-Pineland Corridor consists of a network of trails traversing state-owned land, powerline rights-of-way, and connector trails owned and managed by Royal River Conservation Trust and the Town of Pownal that connect Bradbury Mountain State Park (Pownal) to the Pineland Public Land (Gray, North Yarmouth, New Gloucester). RRCT’s trails within this networks are known as the Elmwood Trails. Pineland Public Land trail systems are entirely separate from — not connected to — the trail systems of Pineland Farms.
